Orphanage
Have you ever seen or experienced something so heartbreaking that it immediately made you feel like you're just not doing enough??? If so, then you might be able to understand how I felt visiting this orphanage in Gboko. It wasn't just the fact that they didn't have enough food and clothing that got to me, because anyone can provide that. I was grieved primarily because of the fact that those little boys and girls don't have strong men in their lives (Fathers) to love them, tell them who they are and point them in the right direction. The saddest thing is that in a country like America, where even the low income families live like royalty in Nigeria, a generation of young people is being lost for the same reason. If we are ever going to make a positive impact on the youth of this world, it will be done by giving them an accurate view of who they are and teaching them how to tap into the greatness that lies within each one of them. Please remember these children in prayer, along with the rest of the worlds Fatherless Generation.
